This trip starts with a visit of the modern city of Santiago.

The journey will continue torward Puerto Montt - Puerto Varas, overlooking Osorno Volcano. This is part of the Chilean Lakes District and one of the world’s scenic jewels. Once here, you will visit the beautiful island of Peulla in Todos los Santos Lake, the marvelous Petrohue Waterfalls, the German style Frutillar village and the mystical Chiloe Island and its seafood.

The tour will continue towards the mysterious and stunning, Easter Island, a volcanic island with turquoise waters, which predominate along, the famous Moais, giant carved stone heads undaunted over time and full of mysteries. This tour will captivate you with its history, unique culture and landscapes.

PANORAMIC TOUR WITH CERRO SAN CRISTÓBAL

Departing from our hotel, we drive to the civic center of Santiago to visit the Government Palace of La Moneda. We continue through the financial area and then we visit the heart of Santiago and the center of social life, the Main Square (Plaza de Armas) which is surrounded by historical buildings such as the Metropolitan Cathedral, the main post office, and the National Historical Museum. Afterwards we will drive through the Barrio Bellavista with its many cultural activities, art galleries, theaters, restaurants and dance halls proceeding to the Cerro San Cristóbal, a very well-known recreational area with a fantastic view of the city. PUERTO MONTT & PUERTO VARAS CITY TOUR

Departure from the hotel and drive to the viewpoint of Puerto Montt from where you will enjoy a wonderful view of the bay and the volcanoes Osorno and Calbuco. After that you will visit the city centre, the main square (plaza de armas) and the cathedral. You will continue towards the harbor Angelmó. This part of the city was and still is the centre of commercial activity. Constantly boats that ship products from various islands arrive at this port. The old port down the coastal road is now a tourist attraction: here you will find a market on which handicrafts of the area are sold. Puerto Varas is situated on the south west margin of lake Llanquihue, 20 km. from Puerto Montt, and possesses all the poetry of its houses full of roses and the intimacy of the bay. You will be able to appreciate the evidence of German colonization in their typical constructions and beautiful gardens. The volcanoes Calbuco and Osorno stand out in the horizon. The insertion of different cultures in these desolate difficult territories where nature offers all its beauty but also big difficulties keeps being a strong challenge for man.

Day 4: Puerto Mont / Puerto Varas

NAVIGATION TO PEULLA

You will go on a boat trip to the beautiful island of Peulla which is situated in the Todos los Santos Lake. You will depart early in the morning from Puerto Varas to Petrohué and enjoy impressive views of the volcanoes Osorno and Calbuco that dominate the scenery here. When you arrive at Petrohué, you will have 30 minutes break before the boat leaves to Peulla and crosses the Todos los Santos Lake. If the weather conditions allow it, you will be able to see volcano Osorno, the Puntiaguado hill and the Tronador from our boat. After your arrival at Peulla you will visit the ecological villa which is a true paradise for nature enthusiasts. A couple of hours later you will return to Puerto Varas or to Puerto Montt. Day 5: Puerto Mont / Puerto Varas

CASTRO & DALCAHUE (Chiloé Island)

Early morning departure towards Chacao Channel, where we cross in a ferry enjoying nature. From Chacao we drive directly to Dalcahue along the highway. There we can the see Chilote handicrafts, houses on stilts (palafitos) and also visit the Church of Dalcahue which has been declared Mankind’s Heritage. From there we head towards Castro, where you can have lunch at a palafito if you wish so, to head later to the Port, the handicraft market with artisans working on their different products, the Plaza with its Church of San Francisco, Castro Museum and the observation points. In the afternoon we will head towards Puerto Montt or Puerto Varas. Private Service.

Day 6: Puerto Mont / Puerto Varas

FRUTILLAR GERMAN STYLE VILLAGE

Frutillar is located at the Llanquihue Lake in front of the Osorno Volcano and counts 15.500 people. Historically it has been a very important city as it was the place where the first German colonies settled. Frutillar is famous for its music festival “Las Semanas Musicales de Frutillar” that came into being in 1968 and that compromises concerts, operas, choir and jazz music. Another remarkable characteristic of Frutillar are the houses in German style, the beach and the beautiful gardens in the town. You can visit the German Colonial Museum, the amphitheater and the Forest reserve Edmundo Winckler. Shared Service.

Day 9: Easter Island

ANAKENA AND THE LOST CULTURE OF RAPA NUI

This unique tour first takes you to the south coast in order to visit representative examples of the not restored platforms, Ahus Vaihu and Akahanga. Then we proceed to Rano Raraku, the quarry of almost 900 stone statues, 397 of them still lying or standing at the slopes of the extinct volcano with a crater lake. After this stop we visit Ahu Tongariki (restored with 15 Moais) which is the most recent and biggest restoration on the island. Next we drive to the east coast and visit Ahu Te Pito Kura and the "Navel of the World". Last but not least we visit the beach of Anakena with its recovered Ahus Nau Nau and Ature Huke. There you will have the opportunity to enjoy the warm Pacific Ocean. Return to the hotel. Shared Service.

Day 10: Easter Island

ORONGO CEREMONIAL VILLAGE

You will be taken to the extinct volcano Rano Kau appreciating a view over the whole island and with its distinct geological features. On top of the volcano we proceed to a breathtaking view of the crater lake. Afterwards you will go to the ceremonial village of Orongo, where the birdman competition took place, and you can see the spectacular petroglyphs related to this culture and the 3 islands situated opposite the coast. Then you will go to Ahu Vinapu (not restored) and the Ana Kai Tangata cave with its paintings. Afterwards, return to the hotel. Shared Service.

Day 11: Easter Island

AHU AKIVI AND ITS 7 MOAI

This half day tour takes you to the restored Ahu Akivi with its 7 Moais, built in the middle of the island. From here you proceed to the Ana Te Pahu Cave, one of the biggest lava tubes of the island before you visit Ahu Tepeu (not restored) and afterwards the topknot-quarry Puna Pau. Return to the hotel.
